We took the light rail to Skjold and walked to the playground to give the kids some variety, and it turned out to be a very good choice. Our two, who are about 4 years old, really enjoyed themselves. The playground has a lot to offer: climbing, slides, bridges, spinning wheels and enough small challenges to get them to use their arms, legs and imagination. There are also plenty of benches for us adults, nicely placed around the area so that you can follow what is happening without standing like a statue the whole time. We brought water, cocoa and lunch, and it was a very pleasant morning for both adults and children. We didn't drive a car today, so we don't know about the parking options, but the light rail and the short walk worked out perfectly. All in all, a great playground with enough variety to keep the kids busy.

Minus for lack of parking spaces, poor access and much smaller than what the pictures give the impression of. This space is only for people other than locals on Søndager å.

My kid loves it so I love it.

This is a new large playground just a few meters from the Spar store in Skjold. The playground has lots of seating and new play equipment that is great for children. The playground has a basketball court with hoops. The court also has goals and a volleyball net. Plenty of seating and tables mean you can spend many hours here. The playground also has a water tap, and opportunities to grill on the grills placed there, which is a plus. Direct path to Skjoldtun kindergarten's play areas. Worth visiting for families with young children.
