Well, there's a swing. Nothing more. You can still see an overgrown sandbox. Whoever wrote the previous reviews was either being sarcastic or rated the wrong place.

This playground is a true paradise for both young and old! Surrounded by stunning green areas, it gives a feeling of being one with nature. The trees provide shade on hot days, and the colorful toys brighten up the entire area. There is something for everyone here – from exciting climbing frames to swings that make children fly high into the sky. The idyllic location, with flowers and green lawns, makes it a perfect place to spend time with the family. It is simply a playground that combines the joys of play with the tranquility of nature in an unbeatable way!

This must be one of Norway's most spectacular playgrounds. Imagine the palace park in Versailles compressed into an area of 20 square meters surrounded by beautiful Norwegian nature. You can't get a more precise description of Norway. This is the 8th wonder, and the first in Norway. The security is also top notch.

This beautiful playground has a very special place in my heart. I have only been there once, in 2015, but I have been constantly dreaming of returning there ever since. The day I visited, I was on a walk with my mother, talking and enjoying the sunset that evening. Suddenly we saw a big playground in the distance, so we walked over to sit down for a moment. Right before we entered the playground however, a kind old lady came over to us and gave each of us ice cream for free. We thanked her, and as she walked away, a young man ran to us asking us to watch his dog for a bit while he went to grab some groceries. This dog was the cutest and friendliest dog I have ever seen, so we took care and played with the dog while the owner was gone. Ok, this next part might sound ridiculous, but it really happened… When the owner returned, we saw him pause and watch us enjoying having time with the dog. We called him over asking if he was ok. He slowly walked over to us and said “You can have him.” He ended up giving us his dog! The man left, and me and my mother sat there on the old bench, filled with both confusion and thankfulness. That day has forever changed my life. Thank you Kvernhus lekeplass, I long for the day we can meet again…
