Great swimming area recommended. It is very sunny here but also somewhat wilder than in Fornebu. You will find some nice beach oases here all to yourself, there are also two floating piers with diving towers here, plus an extra diving tower along the shore. You also have several nice benches here. The beach here below the boat noise playground is, together with the rest of the inner Oslofjord's swimming beaches, some of Norway's warmest and best. And the beaches here between Høvikodden and Strandkafe are perhaps only the castle of Fornebu in terms of heat. Here on these beaches, however, it is much wilder and nice. It is often windless and mild here in the winter and often hot and windless in the summer. It can be hot here from about 17 May to 30 September, and maybe also a little further into October. But between 17 May and 10 June and between 15 August to 15 October. Then you should not expect more than about between 15-25 degrees in air temperature. So more summer than minus 20 as the temperature can be here in winter even though this is now almost 15 years ago. There is also an old monument here from World War II. The ruins of Josef Terboven's old summer house still remain from here. In the middle of the path from here towards Veritasparken right after you have left the boat noise 😉👍.

Good place to go as minor. Bring bucket and shovel.
