1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KidMapp (“the Service”), including our website at kidmapp.com and our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KidMapp is a community-powered platform that helps families discover playgrounds, outdoor activities, and family-friendly venues. Users can browse locations, write reviews, upload photos, and contribute to the community through various interactions.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to KidMapp (reviews, photos, etc.). By submitting content, you grant KidMapp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or inappropriate content
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit content that is harmful to children or inappropriate for families

6. XP and Gamification

KidMapp awards experience points (XP) for contributions such as reviews, photos, and playground submissions. XP and levels are for engagement purposes only and have no monetary value. KidMapp reserves the right to modify the XP system at any time.

7. Location Data

The Service uses location data to provide nearby playground recommendations. Location data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can control location access through your device settings.

8. Disclaimer

KidMapp provides information about playgrounds and activities based on community contributions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or availability of any listed location. Parents and guardians are responsible for assessing the suitability and safety of playgrounds for their children. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidMapp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Service or other users.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Oslo, Norway.
